How to Photograph Ferrari Exterior Condition

The best valuation photos are current, evenly lit and complete enough to show both the shape of the car and the condition of its surfaces.

Start with a complete walkaround

Photograph front, rear, both sides and all four three-quarter angles with the entire car in frame. Use daylight or open shade, keep the camera level and leave enough space around the vehicle to avoid distortion.

Clean the lens and move distracting objects when practical, but do not use filters or edits that alter paint color or hide damage.

Add condition close-ups

Capture the front bumper, splitter, hood, windshield, roof, mirrors, rocker panels, wheel arches and rear surfaces. Include stone chips, scratches, dents, paint-protection-film edges and other known imperfections.

A close-up should be paired with a wider image showing where the condition appears on the car. Reflections can exaggerate or conceal defects, so change the viewing angle if needed.

Show paint and body history honestly

Identify panels with known paintwork, body repair, replacement film or ceramic coating. If a paint-meter report or repair invoice exists, connect it to the correct panel.

Do not describe paint as original unless that statement is supported. Accurate disclosure lets the buyer decide what verification remains.

Common questions

Seller FAQ.

Do I need a professional camera?

No. A current phone camera in even light is usually sufficient.

Should I photograph every stone chip?

Show representative wear plus any larger or unusual damage clearly.

Can I use old listing photos?

Current images are better because they reflect present condition and mileage.
