Ferrari Wheel, Tire and Brake Condition Guide

Wheels, tires and brakes are highly visible condition items, and replacement costs can make small details important during a Ferrari review.

Photograph every wheel

Capture each wheel straight-on in even light, then add close images of curb rash, bends, finish damage or repaired areas. Note whether the wheels are factory equipment and whether another set is included.

A single attractive wheel photo does not establish the condition of the full set. Labeling images by corner makes follow-up easier.

Record tire details

Provide tire brand, model, size and the four-digit date code from each axle. Mention puncture repairs, sidewall damage, uneven wear or long storage periods even when tread depth appears strong.

Older tires can require replacement because of age and condition before their tread is exhausted. Avoid describing tires as new without the installation date or invoice.

Describe the braking system

Identify whether the Ferrari has iron or carbon-ceramic brakes and share any recent measurement or service information. Photograph rotor surfaces and calipers without making wear claims from appearance alone.

Brake warning messages, vibration, noise or known damage should be disclosed. A specialist measurement carries more weight than an estimate based only on mileage.

Common questions

Seller FAQ.

Should I repair curb rash before selling?

Not automatically. Show the damage and compare the repair cost with its effect on the offer.

Does low mileage mean the tires are usable?

No. Tire age, storage and physical condition matter alongside tread depth.

Can carbon-ceramic wear be judged from photos?

Photos help show damage, but reliable wear assessment may require measurements and records.
