How to Sell a Ferrari From Storage

Confirm who can access the car

Identify the facility contact, access hours, release requirements and whether the owner must attend. Provide authorization only through the confirmed transaction process.

Locate all keys, title or lender information, registration, charger, books and accessories before pickup day. Storage staff may not know which items belong with the vehicle.

Assess readiness without forcing a drive

Report when the Ferrari last ran, how the battery was maintained and whether tires or fluids show visible concerns. Do not start or drive a long-stored car only to prove that it moves if doing so could cause damage.

A non-running or low-clearance vehicle may require different loading equipment. Share garage dimensions, ramps, turns and surface conditions with the transport coordinator.

Coordinate release and pickup

Complete ownership, payment and facility paperwork before dispatch whenever possible. Confirm who hands over the keys and signs the storage release.

Photograph the car and odometer near pickup time, then use a condition report at loading. Remove personal items while keeping agreed accessories with the Ferrari.
